OCTAVIA

• Linhardt's mom, a gremory. A very eccentric woman who marches towards life at the beat of her own drum, a very good healer, and also someone who can use axes extremely well! It's. Kind of terrifying. She has the minor crest of Cethleann.
• Octavia is someone who believes that the world could always stand to be a little brighter, and she goes out of her way to meet each day head on, with the vigor of someone half her age. She's extremely cheerful, wonderfully bright, and exceedingly overbearing and smothering, but she at least tries to mean well.
• She's someone who had to constantly go out of her way to ensure that Linhardt wasn't slacking off on his studies. Linhardt honestly went to great lengths to hide from her sometimes?? Like this woman can climb trees to drag her son out of them. Octavia is very dedicated to making sure her son prospers, okay!!
• Even so, she always made sure to indulge her son whenever he did well; even in post-timeskip times she'll take him out into town and add more friends to his stuffed animal collection, and she loves to listen to her son and bounce research ideas off of him even if she doesn't quite get it.
• ...She's a little dumb but she's got a lot of spirit to make up for it, okay.

Appearance: Short, average-looking, though sort of willowy. She's definitely where Linhardt gets his hair and eyes from, as her hair, while it is starting to go gray in her old age, is still a rather deep green that's long and straight in appearance. She tends to keep it down, though occasionally she'll put it up into a ponytail. Her eyes match him perfectly, though, a deep blue that sparkles so often she may as well be in a shoujo anime.

CADMUS

• Linhardt's father, a holy knight. A man who greatly prefers to heal injuries rather than cause them, he's trained himself to get past that and fight if he must. He has no crest to speak of.
• Generally a strict, shrewd man, but he has a very kind heart underneath. He's probably one of the few sane people in the Hevring household outside of the head maid, um.
• Has a bitter, heated rivalry with Caspar's father; it's simmered down over the years, and especially after Caspar dies, but he has far too much pride to apologize for anything he might have said.
• He tried to raise Linhardt right, but he didn't have. Nearly as much energy as his wife did, and it does result in him and Linhardt being a little distant outside of semi-official business sometimes. Still, he does love and appreciate his son a lot, and he's very proud of him and everything he does; they're a lot closer come post-timeskip.

Appearance: Very tall and lanky looking, with pure white hair and gray eyes. His hair may have been a different color in the past, but he started graying prematurely (in his 30s) and he just kind of let his hair go without complaint. His hair is short enough that he mostly just slicks it back, but he's never seen without a pair of reading glasses. He's also got a well maintained mustache. He's very prideful about it.

AGATHA

• The head maid of House Hevring who's served three generations of these weirdos. Gods bless her soul, she's so used to all of the weird shit happening in this house and the weird people that live in it.
• Generally rather down to earth; she doesn't express much, but she's someone who's almost always listening in on something or other and keeping it in the back of her mind.
• She's pretty much in her 70s and hasn't known a life outside of serving House Hevring, but she does all of it with a smile and takes great care of it's eccentric family members. Agatha is completely loyal to the family, but especially to Octavia and Linhardt.
• She's also basically Linhardt's grandma? He's never explicitly called her that, but she's the closest thing he's got to one.
• Very on top of things in the house. Basically, if there's something going on, Agatha will likely be the first person to know, and she'll act accordingly.

Appearance: A very tiny old lady. Like, pre-timeskip Lysithea height. Entirely white hair, almost always wearing a long, matronly dress of some kind, and keeps her hair up in a bun. She's a lot stronger than people would assume, and a lot more athletic than they'd think as well.
