She doesn't know a single thing about soulmates and really doesn't intend to, but she's not sure what's worse; the idea that he could be lying to her (which angers her), the idea that some people in this world are born without soulmates (which angers and saddens her), or the idea that there's something there, possibly, but she just can't read it. (which is frustrating)

Really, Edelgard can't hide the frustration that she feels as she looks back up to Lorenz, releasing his wrist and trying to keep herself calm. She's been in far more tense situations, she can deal with this with grace.]
