[It's only been a few days, and yet Camilla can more than see that tensions are very high between the Black Eagles and the Golden Deer; anyone can see that the tension can be cut with a godsforsaken knife, all because of what her father did to Lorenz and herself. It's certainly well deserved, and Camilla won't deny that, but...
It doesn't feel right to her; the only one they should be blaming here is Xander, but the knowledge that this is causing the rest of their house relations to be tense is not something Camilla likes. Camilla isn't really sure how to word it properly, so, much like she always does, she decides to take it upon herself to try and see if she can't at least attempt some sort of repaired bridge.
Camilla remembers very well what those men who were working with her father told her, after all. They spoke of Hubert's orders, and everything Hubert had done to help with this mission; how his information gathering was perfect for luring the stupid woman (her) into this trap with ease, and at the time, she had been ready to kill them all. She had felt so betrayed that Hubert had used her like this, but...
The more she thought about it, the stupider it felt. What benefit would he have to do something like this? What benefit would it be to put her out of the picture--to strain relations with the Alliance so much, to try and incite war?
That's why Camilla takes it upon herself to follow him around for a day; she needs to confront him privately over this. She doesn't want to do this in front of prying eyes, and she needs to know if she's going to have to tear him asunder for such transgressions against her and her lord. She kill him if she has to, and she knows more than ever now that she could overpower him if needed. That crest of Indech may have been forced into her, but it's been nothing but a boon in an actual fight.
He's not stupid, though, and that's a fact Camilla can appreciate as he goes to the docks and finally calls her out. It really will be a shame if she has to kill him, but...
Well, Camilla steps forward and out of the shadows, bowing easily to him. She has no weapons with her at all; simply her fists and her magic, if absolutely needed. It's all she'd need if push came to shove, she assumes.]
My apologies, Lord Hubert. You are a busy man, after all; I'm afraid I didn't quite wish to interrupt you.
[Camilla folds her hands in front of her easily, though her expression is a small smile; it's not a nice smile by any means, though that isn't helped by the fact that she hasn't managed a genuine expression in the last month or so.]
But...I suppose now that I have your attention, I do have a few questions for you. [...] Very important questions, considering what I have heard from...some men, under your house's employ.
