(5) Neo can likely watch this as it attempts to happen; it seems Sonic's focusing some kind of power about approximately where a pair of lips should go, but it doesn't seem like he's managing anything at the moment.
It takes a moment or two for Sonic to try again, but once again--he fails. (8) This one's a little more obvious, though, and it seems to have made some sort of mouth? It is. Very much more like an emoji than a proper mouth, not even looking corporal before disappearing and Sonic lets out a few beeps and boops in frustration.]

[Ignore the whirr of machinery that is definitely embarrassed to have to ask this, Sonic rubs the back of his mechanical head as he considers this.] Do you have like...any idea how I could make a pair of lips?
