[Sonic's words are warm. He wants an excuse to stay here and be with Neo, honestly--maybe they can finally talk, finally actually try and understand each other, but...

Sonic knows Neo's probably going to need some time to himself, especially after how stressful today's likely been. If anything, Sonic's just happy the guy hasn't stormed off, and it's nice. It's nice to have his rival back.

It's with a cheeky boop to Neo's nose that he starts to walk past the other hedgehog as he waves goodbye, but unlike the last time he saw him, he looks back to him briefly with a bit of a grin.]
