[Sayaka is an incredibly dedicated student. If Hubert were a proper teacher - or even just a better person - he'd probably be proud of her. After all, she's chosen to embrace the thing she was so hesitant in using at first and has come a long way in her studies.
But as always, this is a means to an end. Sayaka is slowly warming up to him and that can only be useful - at the very least because it makes it look as though Hubert is not always scheming.

Well, needless to say, the dark magic comes easily to her. Death is certainly an interesting spell, and while it takes a bit for her to concentrate, the effect is certainly potent as she blasts at the training dummy. A little...inaccurate, at any rate, which gets Sayaka to pause a bit.]
Oh, gosh-- [At least she hit...most of the dummy...???] Is that one typically hard to aim...?
